Wine education from the comfort of your home
Experience wine with the live guidance of expert sommeliers from around the country! Guests will learn about different types of wine, pairings, how to pour, and more. Each guest receives:
- Four hours of interactive education from expert sommeliers
- Wine tasting mat delivered to your home (tickets must be purchased by Fri, Sept 10 for this benefit)
- Weekly wine recommendations prior to each tasting to purchase from local wine store. Purchasing is not mandatory for the series, but heavily encouraged. Pittsburgh participants have the option of purchasing and picking up wine from Our Clubhouse in the Strip District.
- Weekly cheese and entree pairings to prepare before each tasting--or to order from one of our Pairings Partners
- Each ticket purchase is a charitable contribution to Our Clubhouse's social and emotion support programs for those impacted by cancer.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Our Glass is Half Full has moved online. The committee aims to provide the same enriching experience from a safe distance.
Your participation sustains Our Clubhouse's vibrant virtual support community to all those touched by cancer. Services remain virtual during the COVID-19 pandemic and will resume in person once the risk for the cancer community is reduced.
